SubTracker is a subscription tracking platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using SubTracker, you agree to these practices.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (such as your name and email), subscription data you add or that we detect on your behalf, and general usage data to help us improve the service. If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processors and we do not store your card details.
2. Email Integrations (Gmail and Outlook)
You may optionally connect your Gmail or Outlook account to automatically detect subscriptions. When you do:
- We access your inbox in a read-only capacity, limited to identifying billing-related emails such as receipts and payment confirmations.
- We extract and store only the subscription details found in those emails (service name, amount, billing frequency). Raw email content is processed in memory and not stored.
- This data is used solely to populate your SubTracker dashboard and for no other purpose.
- You can disconnect your email account at any time from Settings. Your access tokens are deleted immediately on disconnection.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the SubTracker service, send you account-related notifications (such as renewal reminders), and respond to support requests. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data with service providers (such as hosting and infrastructure partners) who process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law.
Where AI is used to analyze email content for subscription detection, that content is processed solely to perform the detection for you and is not used to train AI models.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hey@subtracker.online.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Raw email content is never stored beyond the moment of processing.
7. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your data through your account settings at any time. You can also disconnect any connected integration at any time. For any other requests, contact us at hey@subtracker.online.
8. Children's Privacy
SubTracker is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Google API Limited Use Compliance
SubTracker's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data received from Google APIs is used only to provide subscription tracking features to the authenticated user. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose. It is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to operate the service. It is not used to train AI or machine learning models.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time and will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of SubTracker after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
